Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your PetHive account and exactly what happens to your data when you do. PetHive is operated by Zero Gravity Cybernetics Private Limited.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore a deleted account, its content, or its chats. If you only want a break, consider simply logging out instead.

Delete your account in the app (recommended)

Open the PetHive app and sign in.
Go to your Profile and open Settings.
In the Account & Security section, tap Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion in the dialog.

Your account is erased immediately — there is no waiting period. You will be signed out on all devices.

Can't access the app?

Email us from the address registered to your PetHive account:

Include: your PetHive username.

We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days at the latest — usually much sooner. We never ask for your password.

What gets deleted

Your profile: all personal details (name, email, phone number, date of birth, bio, photos) are erased or irreversibly anonymized.
Your content: posts, photos, videos, stories, and comments are removed from the service; your uploaded media files are deleted from storage.
Your pets' profiles and their photos.
Your chats: your encryption keys and message queue are purged. Chats were end-to-end encrypted, so we never could read them — after deletion the encrypted data that remains is undecryptable and is cleaned up.
Sessions and devices: all active sessions are revoked and push-notification tokens deleted.

What may be retained, and why

Want to delete only some data instead?

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific data:

Delete individual posts, stories, or comments from their menus in the app.
Delete chats or use disappearing messages per conversation.
Edit or remove profile and pet details in Settings and your pet's profile.
Remove your call log entries in the Calls tab.
