These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PetHive mobile application and related services ("PetHive", the "Service"), operated by Zero Gravity Cybernetics Private Limited, Pentagon 3, Magarpatta City, Hadapsar, Pune, India – 411013 ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using PetHive you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who may use PetHive
- You must be at least 14 years old. Where the law of your country requires a higher age or parental consent for using services like ours, that law applies.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You may not use PetHive if we have previously banned your account, or to evade an enforcement action.
2. Your content
- It stays yours. You retain all ownership rights in the content you create and share (posts, photos, videos, stories, comments, pet profiles).
- License to operate the Service: so we can host, display, and distribute your content to the audiences you choose, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, adapt (e.g., generate thumbnails and previews), and display your content — solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service consistent with your visibility settings. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content was reshared by others or we must retain it for legal reasons.
- You are responsible for your content: only post what you have the right to share, and follow the Community Guidelines.
- Private messages are end-to-end encrypted; we cannot read them and claim no license over their content.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- violate the Community Guidelines or any applicable law;
- access the Service by automated means (bots, scrapers) or interfere with its operation and security;
- attempt to circumvent encryption, moderation, rate limits, or access controls;
- misuse reporting or appeal mechanisms;
- collect other users' data without their consent, or use PetHive content to train machine-learning systems without our written permission.
4. Moderation, suspension, and termination
- We may remove content and restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines. We review reports of objectionable content and act within 24 hours. Moderation combines human review with basic automated tooling (for example spam and duplicate detection); decisions that restrict you are taken or checked by people.
- Statement of reasons: when we remove your content or restrict your account, we notify you of the decision, the rule it was based on, and how to appeal (see the Community Guidelines), in line with the EU Digital Services Act.
- Serious violations (including child endangerment — see our Child Safety Standards) result in immediate permanent bans and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.
- You may stop using PetHive at any time and delete your account, which permanently erases your data as described on that page.
- If we terminate your account for cause, you may appeal — see the Community Guidelines.
5. Copyright and intellectual-property complaints
If you believe content on PetHive infringes your copyright or other IP rights, send a notice to info@zgcns.com with the subject "IP Infringement Notice", including:
- identification of the protected work and of the infringing content (links/usernames),
- your contact details and your relationship to the rights holder,
- a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, and that your notice is accurate.
We remove infringing content, notify the poster, and terminate repeat infringers' accounts.
The PetHive name, logo, apps, and service (excluding user content) are our intellectual property; these Terms grant you only a personal, non-transferable right to use the app.
6. The Service
- PetHive is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it stable and secure, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Content shared by users (including pet-care tips) is not professional advice. For your pet's health, always consult a qualified veterinarian.
- We may add, change, or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury.
7. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune, India have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer in the European Union, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Consumer dispute resolution (Germany/EU): we are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle) within the meaning of the German VSBG. This does not affect your right to go to court.

9. General
- Severability: if any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force; the invalid provision is replaced by a valid one that comes closest to its purpose.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor of the Service (e.g., in a corporate restructuring), with notice to you.
- Entire agreement: these Terms, the Community Guidelines, the Child Safety Standards, and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- No waiver: our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use PetHive after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
